brand design

with soul

We help you distill all
there is to only that
which matters.

what is a brand, really?

Your brand isn’t your logo, colour palette, or tone of voice (though those help express it).
It’s the feeling people have about you. It lives in how you answer the phone, how you handle a complaint, and how you show up—consistently-across every moment of engagement.

It’s your reputation, your shorthand, your promise.

why does it matter?

People form an impression of your brand in as little as 0.4 seconds. That impression influences whether they trust you, buy from you, or recommend you.

A single poor experience-an unanswered email, a careless reply-can erode years of good work.
A clear, confident brand identity helps build trust, foster loyalty, and create meaningful connections. It’s not about surface polish; it’s about alignment between what you say, what you do, and what people feel.

where does your brand live?

Not on your business card. Not on your website.
Your brand lives in the minds—and instincts-of your audience. It’s a gut feeling shaped by what they see, hear, and experience. And once that feeling is formed, it’s hard to shift.

That’s why consistency matters. Every touchpoint adds up.

brand identity: your story, clearly told

Your brand identity gives form to your purpose. It’s the visual and verbal system that tells your story at a glance-across screens, signs, packaging, and more.

If you don’t define your identity, others will. We help organisations of all sizes shape brand identities that are authentic, expressive, and future-ready.

It’s not about trends or templates. It’s about uncovering the essence of who you are—and expressing it with clarity, creativity, and care.

strategy that bridges the gap

Where you are vs. where you want to be.
How you’re seen vs. how you want to be remembered.

We help you bridge that gap-with actionable brand strategies that align your purpose, personality, and positioning.

Sometimes, you just need a clear outside view. Other times, you need a full reimagining. Either way, we meet you where you are.

brand clarity matters

Strong causes and great products aren’t enough on their own. If you can’t explain your value clearly, consistently, and memorably, you risk being misunderstood-or overlooked entirely.

Brand clarity is the starting point. It cuts through complexity and helps you focus on what truly resonates. It’s the foundation of trust and the fuel for growth.

workshops & Tools: Build with intention

While plenty of online tools claim to offer clarity, we’ve found real transformation happens through conversation. Our workshops-delivered in person or online-bring structure to brand building in a way that’s fast, focused, and genuinely collaborative.

What we help define:

  • Vision & mission
  • Value proposition
  • Brand pillars
  • Brand vocabulary
  • Nomenclature
  • Tone of voice
  • Elevator pitch

When these elements are clear, they become the springboard for visual identity-ensuring every design choice supports your purpose.

the golden circle

Popular online, the Golden Circle is an exercise you can use independently or with a facilitator to uncover the core truths that drive your brand. Inspired by Simon Sinek’s concept, the process starts with identifying the “why” and works outward. By doing so, leaders can craft a compelling brand essence narrative and establish a strong foundation for success. Completing this exercise requires deep integrity and thoughtful self-reflection, often benefiting from a creative intervention for optimal results.

Frameworks that help (and when to break them)

The Golden Circle
Popularised by Simon Sinek, this model helps uncover what drives your organisation-starting with why, moving to how, and finally, what. It’s simple, but when used honestly, can unlock real clarity.

The Nine Points
Our own streamlined framework to help define your brand essence:

  1. Emotional impact
How should people feel about your brand? Choose two words. (e.g., Volvo – safety, Lidl – price)
  2. Unique value
What truly sets you apart-and matters to your audience?
  • Vision & mission
What drives you? What future are you helping create?
  • Core values
Name three principles that guide how you work and communicate.

5. Key Messages
Select three messages that will resonate with your audience. Are they invitations, calls to action, or rallying cries?

6. Definition Line
A simple, clear descriptor for when basic clarity is needed, e.g., Financial Advisors in Peckham.

7. Strap Line
A strapline is your promise, positioning your brand in the minds of your audience, e.g., Carlsberg: Probably the best lager in the world. Be single-minded, unique, and authentic. Ensure you can live up to and deliver-on the promises
you make.

8.  Call to Action
What is your key invitation to customers? Examples: trial, price, experience, help, care, service.

9.  Audience Resonance
Will your answers to these steps resonate with and reach your intended audience? By working through these points, you can begin to define a clear and
impactful brand essence that truly represents your organization.
